Lowell, MA – May 23, 2014 – InfoBionic™, an emerging digital health company focused on superior patient monitoring solutions for chronic disease management, announced it was named a 2014 TiE50 Award Finalist for top technology start-ups by TiE Silicon Valley at their annual conference, TiEcon, last week in Santa Clara, CA. TiE recognizes technology start-ups that shine because of their innovative products and sharp business tactics.

InfoBionic was selected as a finalist for the TiE50 Award from a pool of over 2,800 start-ups from 27 countries. Entrants were judged on the merits of the company’s business model, the technology’s intellectual property value and the leadership team.

“It is an honor and a privilege for InfoBionic to be chosen as a finalist for the prominent TiE50 Award,” stated Dr. Ravi Kuppuraj, Chief Technical Officer and co-founder of InfoBionic. “This further validates the value InfoBionic brings to the healthcare monitoring marketplace. We look forward to building on this momentum with the commercialization of our first product, the MoMe System, for arrhythmia monitoring later this year.”

The MoMe System, a cloud-based remote patient monitoring system for arrhythmia monitoring, has received CE Mark approval in Europe and U.S. Food and Drug (FDA) 510(k) clearance is expected later this year.

Dr. Kuppuraj will be speaking at TiEcon East in Cambridge, MA on Friday, May 30th as part of the Connected Health panel.
